Biography

Zou Lijian, President of Shanghai Yimei Plastic Surgery Hospital, holds a doctoral degree and the title of professor. She graduated from the Ninth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and studied under Academician Zhang Disheng, one of the founders of plastic surgery in China and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as Professor Wang Wei, a renowned plastic surgery professor. She has worked in the field of plastic surgery for many years and has rich experience. She has successfully performed more than 10,000 plastic and aesthetic surgeries and has traveled abroad multiple times for academic exchanges.

She has long been engaged in frontline clinical work in plastic surgery and aesthetic surgery. She specializes in facial plastic and aesthetic surgery and has accumulated rich experience in comprehensive rhinoplasty, comprehensive eye plastic surgery, facial rejuvenation, ear reconstruction, facial contouring, breast plastic surgery, repair of various failed aesthetic surgeries, minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, liposuction, and scar plastic surgery. In particular, she is at a relatively leading level in China in the plastic treatment of congenital microtia and the reconstruction of disfiguring ear deformities.

In plastic and aesthetic surgery, she is skilled at individualized design and has extensive experience in eye and nose plastic surgery and in revision surgery for failed cases. She is proficient in managing emergency craniomaxillofacial and limb trauma and in repairing late-stage deformities. She has developed her own distinctive approach and accumulated rich experience in facial contouring, nasal plastic surgery, ear plastic surgery, and the repair of severe craniofacial organ defects and deformities. She has established a unique approach in implant-based reconstruction using patented techniques for total ear absence, total orbital absence, eyeball absence, and finger absence.
